CMWC Events
What's up everyone! This has truly been an endeavor. Bringing 1000 people to Seattle, showing them a great time and putting on one helluva Worlds comp has truly been a privelege. Special thanks to those on the organizing committees, the volunteers, the sponsors and of course, the RACERS!! Without each and every one of you this event would not have been possible. It is now time to archive this page, We'll still be updating it with new content as it is gathered but it will no longer be our homepage. OFFICIAL RESULTS for the main race and all side events have been posted at cmwc03.com.
It's Sunday morning. This weekend has been packed with events and it has proved to be very difficult to find free time. On Monday results will be posted, as well as hundreds of photos so you can see a little of all the action. On Saturday we had main race qualifying going on! About 300 riders made the cut and will be racing for the world title this afternoon at 2p. The midnight alleycat went down last night also, it was a good mash with about 50 riders. Thanks to local messenger Cory for setting up the race! Check back very soon as we will have time to update the site fully Sunday night or Monday. Thanks to everyone who has shown support for CMWC and Morris Post! It's Thursday night, hundreds of riders are in town from all over the country and around the world! It rained all day and we drank all night. Everyone started at the Noc Noc, had a few drinks and then moved on to the Lava Longe in Belltown. There were an overwhelming amount of people we wanted to meet but there was in no way enough time. We hope those who have already arrived had a good trip and to those in transit, we'll see you soon! After tonight, it is evident that the party has already begun. Jarrod Lowe, one of the three founding fathers of Morris Post has taken over managerial responsibilities for the Spokane area punk rock band Ctrl Z. Look for Ctrl Z at Consolidated Works Arts Center in South Lake Union, Seattle, during the 11th Annual Cycle Messenger World Championships. For booking info and more, check out CTRL Z Online. Sprints went down on Friday night. Unfortunately there were many more spectators than competitors, but regardless, everyone had fun! Check out the photos. Members of Morris Post not only covered courier boxing... but also competed in the main event. Check out some great photos of local couriers beating the piss out of eachother for fun! K.O. Our first official Morris Post race. Sponsored in part by DANK Bags, this was an incredible first time event! Six riders, 3 stops, one mystery stop and lots of beer! Check out the results section for photos and all the details! |
