09/24/2007 - Can I give a shout to Ali who I saw for the first time in months, if not years. Glad to see you're still kickin'.
04/13/2007 - In effort to steer mP in another direction and diversify... there will be some changes coming. Most of the current content will remain on the site and we will be trying a new custom gallery system to manage media. Moving forward, creativity is key.
08/22/2006 - Slight re-vamp... more to come.
03/30/2006 - Hello to everyone who may have visited mP after reading the Seattle Times article on fixed gear bikes, thank you for checking out the site. There is plenty of media to browse, and please come back soon because there will be a relatively massive update happening over the next several days. mP will put on a new face and begin broadening its horizons to include music, the arts, photography, and a bunch of other interesting subjects. Thanks again for visiting morrispost.com! -mp

10/30/2005 - There were at least 150 people at the Messquerade start line... and nearly all of them raced. By far the biggest non-championship race I've seen in Seattle. An overwhelming amount of support from the bike community. Mess will be sending results and pics to us, and when he does you'll see them. Once again, Messmann would like to thanks his very generous sponsors for their donations.

05/16/2005 - As of June 23rd, 2005 morrispost.com will be two years old! We want to see the site turn 30,000 hits by then so we're looking to you for support. Tell everyone to swing by and check out the site, we only need another 2000 visitors between now and then. That gives us five weeks...
05/16/2005 - Sometime this week, we'll post the Bad Nugget final results and a bunch of photos. Time is of essence these days, but that never changes I guess... I will tell you this, Messmann took home the trip to New York City, and Thud went home with the 40oz custom DFL coozie and the human waste disposal kit. Oh... did I mention he raced on a tallbike?
05/16/2005 - Sorry everyone, our Forums are down for a day or two. We'll let you know when the system is back online.

04/20/2005 - Well, after 7 solid days of downtime, the site is back up. Registration for the Bad Nugget is on right now, with all checkpoints and a course map on the page as well. We don't anticipate any more problems with our web server so expect the site to be up and running for good now. Thanks for being patient everyone, and congratulations to the GN series champion and runners up! Photo pages will be up soon for the Midnight Nugget Express and Golden Nugget #3.
04/11/2005 - So the Golden Nugget Series has concluded. The overall points trophy goes to Cory. He came out and thoroughly enjoyed dealing with the last race, which was not an easy one. Three manifests, all difficult, and it was less than 40 degrees with a 20mph headwind in all directions. We didn't want to make it easy to win the airplane ride to New York, so thanks to everyone who came out and got beat up even though they were not racing for the tickets. No one took home the Golden Nugget this time either, I guess we've hidden it too well.
The Pre-NACCC Scramble will be a lot more fun, and during the day, on a Saturday. We ordered good weather, and it wasn't cheap! Saturday, May 7th, 2005. The entire West Coast better show up.
Final GN series point standings:
1st Place | Cory - 59 points
2nd | Craig - 55 points
3rd | Christine - 52 points
4th | Jeremy - 50 points
5th | Kevin (DBB) - 46 points
6th | Todd - 45 points
04/06/2005 - The Bad Nugget Registration form and Checkpoint list are now online! Register early, you can pay now or pay later... actually you cannot pay now just yet, but very soon.
04/05/2005 - Big update tonight, I'll put up the final outcome of the Nugget Series, the Midnight Nugget Express results and docs, plus info about the Pre-NACCC Scramble, Bad Nugget Risin'. The Bad Nugget info includes a list of checkpoints and links to a good map of Seattle. The whole idea is to make this an even race for anyone who comes to race. If you want to go to New York for free, come to Seattle and compete in this event!
03/30/2005 - We're having some trouble with our web server at the moment so please bear with us. As soon as it is possible, we will post the current Golden Nugget series point standings, the Midnight Nugget Express update with photos, and info regarding the Pre-NACCC Scramble - Bad Nugget Risin'. 04/26/2004 - It's been brought up that the race may be better suited for the weekend after CMWC04 instead of the weekend before. Having not decided on the best course of action is why we say there is a possible race date change. 11/19/2003 - We will be adding a comprehensive selection of video media for download very soon! I also added a bunch of photos to Andy's section tonight. In the last two days, over about twelve hours in the studio, we laid down about 10 tracks for Mariah's album. The plan is to mixdown in the next couple weeks and cut a master shortly thereafter. Check the website, or likely KEXP for a track or two in the near future. -- The next event upcoming is likely the office chair downhill, TBA. Be sure to check out DANK Bags and buy your friend a christmas gift. Get your orders in ASAP or Cory may not have time to make your bag before christmas. Call Cory at (206) 351-3426 NOW to place your order! Keep checking back for new stuff. -Matt
11/18/2003 - So here's the deal. United Effect had to cancel their trip, leaving us in somewhat of a bind for a recording artist. Our distress call was answered by none other than our good friend Mariah Barrett. She drove down from Anacortes, WA monday afternoon in time to start tracking at 4p. We laid down about six acoustic guitar tracks including one acapella and one with piano and vocals. Everything flowed smoothly thanks largely to Mariah's natural talent and awesome ability to perform well under pressure and on short notice! We'll be back in the studio tonight to cut a couple more songs and finish up the session. Her album will be available shortly through morrispost.com, we'll keep you posted. HUGE thanks to Jarrod, our morrispost partner out of Spokane for busting his ass for days trying to mop up the mess that cancelling bands have created for us. In the end he came through with flying colors, nice work mang. Also, BIG thanks to our engineer Teh-Wei, for donating many hours of his own time as well as access to the studio! With out you my friend, there would be no session. Peace
11/12/2003 - We're cutting a demo tape with northwest rockers United Effect this coming Monday. Everyone is very excited, it's the first official morrispost recording session in a pro studio! We'll be in Studio-A at the Art Institute of Seattle. State of the art gear and facilities along with the great atmosphere there will offer heller conditions for a great sesh. We'll let everyone know when the final mix is dropped and them post a couple mp3's on the site. By the way, snow is falling and it's almost time to hit the mountains. Send your powder shots here! -Matt
11/08/2003 - So, Staples' race went off in classic Seattle style! The grudge matches were intense, with most people choosing to add a stop in between The Summit & Shorty's. The main event, Staples' Pussycat, drew nine racers and it was LONGBOARD! The manifest looked like this... we started at Shorty's, rode down to Westlake N and then up and over Dexter into Fremont. After that it was on to Gasworks and then the U-District. We're not done yet... back down Eastlake to a couple stops on E Minor and then back up the hill to finish at The Summit. I'd say it was nearly a ten mile race! Nice work Cory B., for taking the prize! Second place goes to Messmann and third to Mason! Followed closely by Rob and Matt in 4th and 5th respectively. Bryce, Art and our DFL Kevin round out the crew! DFL came in with ony half his manifest left... and commuter Jacob DNF due to unfortunate circumstances involving a curb and Mason's rear wheel. Hopefully someone will offer up some photos so I can post them. Everyone have great Sunday, you'll hear from us soon ! -Matt
11/06/2003 - Staples Race 5,000 is coming up this Saturday Nov. 8th @ 5p. This race consists of TWO EVENTS!
First is the Grudge Match. This means one-on-one racing... point-to-point from The Summit to Shorty's. This race starts at 5p @ Summit and Mercer. Second is the Pussycat. This will be your standard alleycat with 8-10 checkpoints. This race starts at Shorty's, (2nd & Bell) @ 6:30p, and will finish up at The Summit. $10 entry gets you registered for both events. Challenge someone of your choice for the Grudge Match! Drink specials and free pool @ The Summit Public House. Oh yeah, and bring scratch to gamble with.
11/05/2003 - Right now we're working on a new design for this site. It will be more user friendly and easier to view on anyone's PC. Look for our NEW discussion forum in the coming weeks. We're also on a mad promotional spree for DANK Bags as it seems there is a lull in sales at the moment. Christmas is coming up and now is the time to keep Cory off his butt and behind the sewing machine! Check out DANK Bags Online to get the scoop on all the bags and accessories he offers. Yesterday Cory was sporting his new design for the Han Solo Lock Holster and I must say...I want one! By the way, you can still check out CMWC03 related stuff here.
